Me!

Hi there! Outside of lab, I’m an outdoorsy person with an adventurous spirit—and a cat who shares it! My feline sidekick loves leash walks and joins me on many of my escapades. I enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, and running. I’ve hiked to Mt. Everest Base Camp and completed several Olympic-distance triathlons. I’m currently training for my first Ironman 70.3 this August, and I’m incredibly excited! I’m also running the Berlin Marathon in honor of my grandmother, who raised me. If you’d like to support my fundraiser, you can do so here. And if you’re just looking for an adventure buddy—don’t hesitate to reach out!

Wanderlust!

The travel bug bit me early—and hard! From India to the U.S. to Europe, I’ve made the most of every opportunity to explore. I’ve spent nearly every holiday traveling solo, immersing myself in new cultures, sampling different cuisines, and wandering through beautiful cities around the world. To preserve those memories beyond just my mind, I started documenting my travels through photos and stories. You can take a peek into my adventures on my Instagram page or here.

Kids!

I’ve always loved spending time with kids. In the summer of 2017, I worked part-time at Margaret’s House, RIT’s daycare center. Alongside the daily joy of working with little ones, I had the special opportunity to represent India in their “Kids on Campus” program—a summer initiative for children aged 8–12. I shared stories about Indian culture, history, and everyday life. The next time I visited, the kids surprised me with the sweetest thank-you gifts. You can see what they gave me here. That summer was truly unforgettable.
